The Crumlin Road Gaol offers a fun and exciting adventure for all visitors. It Dates back to 1845 before finally closing its doors in 1996 as a working prison. Since then this wondering building has seen extensive renovations and has since re-opened as a visitor attraction.
The Gaol now operates a guided tour of the prison, as well as an exciting and scary paranormal tour of the prison, so be prepared for any sightings, noises or unexplained happenings!
During your visit you will embark on a guided tour of the prison, exploring the history of the site and you will cover all aspects of the Gaol from the tunnel linking the courthouse on the other side of the Crumlin Road to the Hanging cell, the historic holding cells, Governor’s office, Centre circle, C-wing, hospital and Graveyard.
